My Rights

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 aims to ensure that public authorities, such as The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust, are open in the way they conduct their business.

Routinely Published Information

In compliance with the Act, the hospital has developed a Publication Scheme which details all of the information that the Trust routinely publishes.

A paper copy of the scheme is available via the Information Governance Team.

Access to Other Trust Information

There may be other information that is not listed in the Publication Scheme that you would like to read. If so, from 1st January 2005 members of the public can make a request for any information held by the hospital which is not already included in the Publication Scheme.

If you would like to make a request, it must be made in writing to the Information Governance Team or via our online request form.
